Friends of Sargood

The Friends of Sargood is a group of community members who have links with either the site and the services that have, in the past been provided.  Some are local residents who are keen to ensure that the site is preserved for the use originally intended by Frederick Sargood.  Some have links to the Sargood family.  Some have worked on the site or are related to those who worked with the service when it was an annexe of the Alexandra Hospital for Children.

The group meets regularly and has contributed greatly to the development of the newest initiative on the site – the Sargood Centre.  Over the past 12 months a collection of memorabilia and stories has been collected and is available to view.
